A quality Vacuum Flexible Bellows Hose made for scientific applications constructed of 316 Stainless Steel with a controlled wall thickness for greater toughness and ductility without “work hardening.”
Products commonly found online are made of 304 Stainless Steel designed for commercial use not high vacuum applications. These products have an unspecified heavy wall thickness reducing flexibility and corrosion resistance.
Materials: 316 Stainless Steel for corrosion resistance, low outgassing, better electropolished surfaces which makes them smoother and less likely to trap water, oil or other molecules in tiny crevices which makes pump-down faster.
Helium leak tested for leak-free operation.
Parts are helium leak tested to 1 x10-10 cc/sec for quality assurance.
